Someone tells that Gabriele D’Annunzio was one of the guests of the trattoria. He had lunch and then he went to the owners’ house and had a lie down. As time passed the trattoria has been a place of passage, of meeting and surely of good food!
Our cooking….to tell our land and our history.In August 2013, after some experiences in different Italian restaurants, chef Pepé and his wife Vittoria started managing the trattoria. A family history that intertwines with the passion for food and this land. Cooking as a way to tell their own land and history, wines and dishes as bridges for meeting and comparing. Every day we buy products of season, we cook simply, essentially, traditionally and genuinely, we suggest local wines and these are “the words of our tale”.
Extrovert, determined, unpredictable, in a word a Sicilian man! Normally he is in the kitchen but sometimes he runs away!
Sweet and reserved, calm and determined. If you see her out of the kitchen it is only an illusion!
And the youngest of the group, she has still a lot to learn and she’s willing to do it! She never denies a smile!
She is pleasant and reliable, determine and prepared!
